» Welcome To Cyber Crime Ops |
Welcome!
CyberCrimeOps is a collaboration between concerned Netziens, former victims, online fraud experts and Law Enforcement. The site is run by volunteers who dedicate their time, money and effort to warn and educate not only members of the general public, but law enforcement about aspects of online fraud and identity theft. Our population is as diverse as the planet and covers many different walks of life from professional occupations through to office workers and labourers. Many are IT savvy and technically able, with most being highly informed about our subject matter.
We have regular news items which highlight various aspects of online fraud from local, national and international news sources. A growing scammer email repository is available, giving much needed information about what to look out for in your inbox. We have alerts regarding the very latest fraudulent websites, giving Netziens an early warning to those sometimes difficult to spot forged web presences.
The need to educate the public about Cyber Crime is vast and urgent. This need drives us to create special subject articles in order to further the general knowledge of scams, as well as provide resources for those Netizens who are concerned about the online safety of their own and of those who are close to them.
CCO bids all a warm welcome, and looks forward to offering vital information to you - the 'Net surfer, and to serve as a vantage point for information and education against the scourge known as Cyber Crime.
